Hi, I’m Tatiana. ✨
A Colombian girl who arrived in Calgary without imagining that winter here had a personality of its own. Back home we don’t have seasons… so that cold that reaches the soul was a shock, just like the loneliness that appeared out of nowhere.
In the middle of all that, I discovered something: I needed a hug. One of those warm, comforting hugs that make you feel at home.
That’s how Eclipse Threads was born.
Not just as a blanket brand, but as a refuge.
Warm, soft, beautiful blankets with original designs made from the heart. Blankets that stay with you all day long while you drink coffee, watch a movie, work, or simply breathe when life feels heavy.

What Our Blankets Are Made Of Our blankets are handcrafted using a super-chunky, ultra-soft, high-quality yarn made from 100% premium polyester — the same material used in Bernat Blanket Yarn, known worldwide for its exceptional softness and durability. This isn’t ordinary yarn. It’s a fiber designed to deliver maximum warmth, comfort, and softness, making it perfect for cold climates like Calgary.
Collaboration Coralia – Eclipse Threads
When I first arrived in Canada, I had the incredible opportunity to take a course with Coralia, where I learned to create the beautiful earrings, I wore for the Stampede. That experience sparked my love for weaving and showed me that there’s nothing quite like channeling my creativity into handmade accessories.
As Independence Day approached, after creating those beautiful earrings, we wanted to do something special to celebrate my beloved country. That’s how the idea of designing earrings inspired by the Colombian flag was born. Wearing them made me feel joyful and truly at home.
Following that, the collaboration with Coralia was born, bringing to life a blanket inspired by those earrings and the spirit of the Stampede. The colors are vibrant and full of energy, reflecting the essence of that experience, and this is how this beautiful blanket came to be.
Thanks to this collaboration, I realized that my experience with Coralia was more than just a course—it was the beginning of a creative and passionate journey that has grown into Eclipse Threads. Every piece I create carries that same love for design, innovation, and the collaborative spirit that has inspired me from the very start.
