ABOUT CORALIA
Coralia began in 2020, during the pandemic, when I sat down with my grandmother and my mother and learned to bead the way they had — patiently, by hand, one piece at a time. What started as a way to stay close to them, and to home, became something I couldn't put down.
This project has been made possible by the unwavering support of my husband, Eddie, family, and friends. Eddie helps with photography, graphic design, and carpentry. Together, we ground each other's skills and keep Coralia authentic to its purpose.
I am Luisa, from Colombia, living in Canada for the past 10 years. I started beading during the pandemic, inspired by my grandma and mom, who always loved making bracelets. Beading has taught me the importance of believing in myself and embracing the chance to learn something new. It's therapy, a daily meditation, where colors and ideas bloom into something real
Every Coralia piece is made to connect with you in whatever way feels right: a color that speaks to you, a shape that catches your eye, a design that feels you, or a quieter connection to your own roots and story unmistakably. There's no one reason to love a piece. There are as many reasons as there are people who wear them.
When you wear a Coralia piece, it's not just an accessory. It's something that reflects a piece of you. That's what I hope you feel when you put one on: not "this completes me," but "this is already me, just a little more visible."
